Girlguiding UK is a member of WAGGGS, the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. Guiding is present in 145 countries around the world, and there are many opportunities to travel and visit other member associations.
Girls from the 204th have been selected to represent Sheffield at Guiding events all over the world, including the World Guide Centres “Our Chalet” in Switzerland, “Our Cabana” in Mexico, and “Sangam” in India, Anguilla and the USA, Japan, Russia, Australia, Finland, Sweden, Ireland, Holland and Belgium.
The unit has also travelled abroad together on 7 occasions: to Italy, France and Spain, and twice to Austria and Switzerland.
