Visitor number:

Girlguiding UK is a member of WAGGGS, the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. Guiding is present in 144 countries around the world, and there are many opportunities to travel and visit other member associations.

Girls from the 204th have been selected to represent Sheffield at Guiding events all over the world. In the past 5 years they have been to World Guide Centres “Our Chalet” in Switzerland, “Our Cabana” in Mexico, and “Sangam” in India, to Anguilla and the USA, to Japan, Russia, and Australia, and to International Camps in Ireland, Holland and Denmark.

The unit has also travelled abroad together on 6 occasions: to France and Spain, and twice to Austria and Switzerland.

Five girls receive their Baden-Powell Awards at Our Chalet in Adelboden, one of the four Guide World Centres.
